CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wyatt welcomed everyone to the meeting of the Resaca City Council.
INVOCATION
Councilman Todd Rutledge led the meeting in prayer.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Wyatt led the council meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag.
MINUTES
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the July meeting. Councilmember Talley made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes. Councilmember Rutledge seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion passed. Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the minutes from the July meeting. Councilmember Talley made the motion to accept the minutes. Councilmember Adams seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS

Picnic tables
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the budget of $6,000.00 for purchasing picnic tables and trashcans for outside recreation from Splost funds. Councilmember Adams made the motion to approve. Councilmember Talley seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion passed.
Flooring for Town Hall
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the flooring quote of $3,376.00 from Adam Diskey to be paid from Splost funds. Councilmember Adams made a motion to approve. Councilmember Rutledge seconded. All in favor, the motion passed.
Amend the Agenda
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to amend the agenda to include a budget for new furniture of $3,000.00 to be paid from Splost fund. Councilmember Talley made a motion to approve. Councilmember Adams seconded. All in favor, the motion passed.
Amend the Agenda
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to amend the agenda to approve $12,000.00 budget for new gym equipment to be paid from Splost fund. Councilmember Rutledge made a motion to approve. Councilmember Adams seconded. All in favor, the motion passed.
Amend the Agenda
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to amend the agenda to include the amended contract with GA Power. Councilmember Talley made the motion to approve the Mayor signing an amended contract with GA Power. Councilmember Adams seconded. All in favor. The motion passed.

SHERIFFS DEPT
Lt. Jack Jenkins gave the report for July. The report is attached to minutes.
LIGHTS
The lights at Northpointe are all working.
RECREATION
Councilmember Rutledge gave the recreation report. Report is attached.
ROADS AND STREETS
Councilmember Adams called DOT to service Taylor Ridge Rd. heading east.
MAINTENANCE REPORT
Councilmember Talley reports general work performed including hauling brush, installing street signs, tree clean-up, trash pick-up, install gym flooring.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to enter executive session to discuss personnel compensation matters. Councilmember Talley made the motion to open the executive session. Councilmember Rutledge seconded. All in favor. The motion passed.

Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to close the meeting. Councilmember Rutledge made the motion to close the meeting. Councilmember Adams seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
