CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Wyatt welcomed everyone to the meeting of the Resaca City Council.

INVOCATION

Councilman Todd Rutledge led the meeting in prayer.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Mayor Wyatt led the council meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag.

MINUTES

Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the June meeting. Councilwoman Adams made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes. Councilman Talley seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion passed. Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the minutes from the June meeting. Councilwoman Adams made the motion to accept the minutes. Councilman Talley seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.

NEW BUSINESS

Hazard Mitigation Plan
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the resolution of Hazard Mitigation Plan for Gordon County. Councilman Talley made the motion to approve the plan. Councilman Rutledge seconded. All in favor. The motion passed.

UPDATES

DEPARTMENT REPORTS
No updates to report

SHERIFFS DEPT
Lt. Jack Jenkins gave the report for June. The report is attached to minutes.

LIGHTS

RECREATION
Councilman Rutledge gave the recreation report. Report is attached. Several treadmills need repaired.

ROADS AND STREETS
Councilman Niles reports Walker Street culvert still needs repaired. It is next in line on the job list for Eric Worley. Mayor Wyatt reports a fallen tree on Walker Street that was removed and still needs to be hauled off. The county repaired Riverview Drive. The county bush hogged the subdivision.

MAINTENANCE REPORT
Councilman Talley reported general work and cleaning.

ADJOURNMENT

Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to close the meeting. Councilman Talley made the motion to close the meeting. Councilman Rutledge seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
