CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wyatt welcomed everyone to the meeting of the Resaca City Council.
INVOCATION
Councilman Todd Rutledge led the meeting in prayer.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Wyatt led the council meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag.
MINUTES
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the May meeting. Councilman Talley made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes. Councilwoman Adams seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion passed. Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the minutes from the May meeting. Councilman Talley made the motion to accept the minutes. Councilman Niles seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS
Hazard Mitigation Plan
Councilwoman Adams made a motion to table the hazard mitigation plan until July. Councilman Rutledge seconded. All in favor. The plan will be tabled until July.
UPDATES
DEPARTMENT REPORTS
No updates to report
SHERIFFS DEPT
Lt. Jack Jenkins gave the report for May. The report is attached to minutes.
LIGHTS
Light at Hwy 136 on Fite Bend has been replaced.
RECREATION
Councilman Rutledge gave the recreation report. Report is attached.
ROADS AND STREETS
Councilman Niles reports the culvert still needs to be repaired on Walker Street. Mayor Wyatt will contact Eric Worley.
MAINTENANCE REPORT
Councilman Talley reported general work, cleaning community center, mowing, trash and brush removal. Cleared the cemetery. Hauled debris from playground in North Point Subdivision. Simple repair of fire truck.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to close the meeting. Councilwoman Adams made the motion to close the meeting. Councilman Rutledge seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
