CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wyatt welcomed everyone to the meeting of the Resaca City Council.
INVOCATION
Councilman Todd Rutledge led the meeting in prayer.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Wyatt led the council meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag.
MINUTES
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the April meeting. Councilman Talley made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes. Councilman Rutledge seconded the motion. All in favor, the motion passed. Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to approve the minutes from the April meeting. Councilman Talley made the motion to accept the minutes. Councilman Niles seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS
Councilman Talley made a motion to amend the agenda to include the estimate of $3,000.00 for Eric Worley LLC to repair storm drain on Walker Street. Councilman Rutledge seconded. All in favor. The motion passed. Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to accept the estimate. Councilman Talley made the motion to accept the estimate. Councilman Rutledge seconded. All in favor. The motion passed.

DEPARTMENT REPORTS
No updates to report
SHERIFFS DEPT
Lt. Jack Jenkins gave the report for April. The report is attached to minutes.
LIGHTS
Nothing to report.
RECREATION
Councilman Rutledge gave the recreation report. Report is attached.
ROADS AND STREETS
Mayor Wyatt reports that Pinecrest Dr. had rock placed in a hole to prevent right of way from washing out.
MAINTENANCE REPORT
Councilman Talley reported general work, cleaning community center, spraying weeds, mowing. The cemetery road will need to be cleared before the Battle of Resaca and new flags will be put up.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Wyatt asked for a motion to close the meeting. Councilman Rutledge made the motion to close the meeting. Councilman Niles seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed.
