CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Allen called the meeting to order.
NEW BUSINESS
Public Hearing for the Annexiation and Rezoning of Joey Baker Property –
Attorney Bert Nobel explained the process. The floor was open for public comment. No one from the public was in attendance. Joey and Kim Baker were present, they had no comments. After giving everyone the opportunity to express any concerns or questions Mayor Allen closed the hearing.
Public Hearing for the Amendment to the Adult Entertainment Oridnance –
Mayor Allen opened the hearing for the Amendment of the Adult Entertainment Ordinance. Attorney Nobel explained what changes were in the Ordinance and why they were important to protect the town. There was no public comment. The Ordinance will be adopted at the November 1, 2016 meeting. Mayor Allen closed the hearing on Adult Entertainment.
Public Hearing for the Amendment to the Telecommunications Ordinance –
Mayor Allen opened the hearing for the Amendment of the Telecommunications Ordinance. Attorney Nobel explained the Ordinance and why it was important. There were no public comments. Mayor Allen closed the hearing.
Mayor Allen asked for a motion to close the Hearings. Councilman Wyatt made the motion to close the hearings. Councilwoman Adams seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed. The hearings are closed.
